Improving Conversion Rates

Many people are so focused on driving more traffic to their sites that they completely overlook what happens once the visitors are actually there.

Improving the conversion rate of your website is essential for your business because, let’s face it, getting 10,000 visitors a day isn’t going to help you a whole lot if none of them are converting from visitors into customers.

Making it Easier for Customers to Buy

Web users are ruthless with their lack of patience. The searcher has to wade through overwhelming amounts of information to get what she wants. She doesn’t have time to read every page she comes across and she’s probably going to click the back button on a page that doesn’t immediately signal to her that “hey, this is what you’re looking for, read more!”

That’s why it’s so important that your site communicates clearly what you’re about and what the user can expect. If they’re looking for your products or services, then you want to make sure they can figure that out within 3 seconds of visiting your site.

Then you want to make it as easy as possible for them to convert–either by buying something or by becomign a warm lead.
