It’s becoming more and more important for “older” people to understand new technologies like Facebook and social networking. If you’re clueless about technology, the younger workers you hire will see it immediately. And they’re not going to respect you if you’re clueless.
Think about this… with your computer skills, would you be able to get an entry-level job in your field today? If the answer is no, then you should be thinking about how you can improve (and not be replaced).
