I installed Joost de Valk’s new link analysis tool when it came out a few days ago and I highly recommend it. It gives you supplemental information about the links you’re viewing when you do a linkdomain search in Yahoo!, specifically the pagrank and the anchor text of the incoming links to a given site.
It’s a good way to do a cursory check of the keywords used in links to a site, either to see how a competitor is getting linked, or to take stock of weaknesses in your current anchor text.
The only issue I have is that on one of my computers, I get an error message when I try to use the tool. I’m not sure what the issue is; maybe conflicting extensions in Firefox? Either way, it’s very useful.
